Located on Babylon east of New Corazon, Pearl is an Incorporate holding of the Nippon Industrial State. A resort town, Pearl is best known for eighteen square kilometers of flower gardens, almost all of which are off-limits to non-NIS personnel.
Many of Pearl's resort employees are natives. In traditional NIS fashion, misleading labor contracts and "noncitizen resident fees" mean that many employees find themselves bound to the NIS but unable to make ends meet.
