Second Try

Located at 14,°16'31" S, 05°14'22" W on the eastern coast of Westward Island, Second Try (pop. ~30,000) is the southern Haven Cluster's second largest settlement.

Second Try was one of the initial sites scouted by the Athena Project settlers from orbit, and was founded as Homestead, the first major settlement outside of Haven. A cyclonic storm killed a third of the Homestead colonists less than a year later; the survivors relocated to the settlement’s current location and renamed it Second Try.
