Recontact refers to three things:

• The arrival of the UNSS Adm. Robert Perry in Poseidon's orbit on 15 June 2165 (163.69 SP), following almost 70 years of Abandonment;
• The current era of Poseidon's history since Recontact;
• A shorthand for Blue Planet: Recontact, the game's current edition.
