Long John is the common name for the xenosilicate that has started a gold rush on Poseidon. In its refined form, it helps tremendously in genetic research and hundreds of biomods have been developed thanks to it; developments that may have have been impossible without it. It seems like Long John may give humankind what it has longed for throughout its existence: eternal life. Long John is used in longevity therapy which reduces the physical age of a person by several years.
