aka Masters-Vishenko Wormhole

A stable Lorentzian wormhole exists at the far fringe of the Sol solar system (783.17 AU distant from the sun).

The wormhole, discovered by John Masters and Yuri Vishenko, was first transited by the unmanned probe Prometheus II on November 25th, 2078 at 9:43 GMT. The Prometheus' transmission from the other side astounded everyone. The probe had emerged in another star system, known as Lambda Serpentis, complete with a remarkably Earth-like planet Lambda Serpentis II (later known as Poseidon).
