Nerids

It is known to almost everyone that there exists intelligent, alien life on Poseidon, which are called Nerids. There are as much rumours about them as about the yetis of Earth.

In the first two editions of the games, both BPv1 and BPv2, the Nerids were called the aboriginals, shortened to abbos, but due to the historical problems with the term in Australia, it was dropped and they were only named Nerids in BP Recontact. This was not a new name, it was used previously but more sparsely.
