The future of Hanover Industries depends so very much on the colonial effort on Poseidon that there are few organisations, save the GEO, that invest so very much in its widespread operations on the new frontier. The control of the Hanover city-state will revert back to Germany in 2201 so the company will loose its independence if it cannot get its operations on Poseidon going. The company is based in the amply named town Lebensraum.
