Caneopoise (Caneopoise benagus), usually called sunbursts, are a marine mammal analog that exists in vast numbers in the Poseidon oceans. A favored food of orcas because their slowness and size makes them very efficient eating, sunburst hide is prized by hunters for its softness and silver sheen, making it one of the few natural commodities besides Long John worth the cost of exporting to Earth.
