Nereids

Nereids ("aborigines" in earlier editions of Blue Planet) are the ray-like, apparently intelligent original inhabitants of Poseidon. Their nature, motives, and plans remain unclear, but they are clearly aware of the growing human presence on Poseidon. Most people knows about them, but they are surrounded with myths, legends and tall tales, just like the Yeti or Loch Ness monster.
